Could this really be our 10th Holiday Festival ?  After checking our tournament history the facts prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that DK Sports has been working feverishly over the past decade to make their baseball game the top in it's class.  It's gotten to the point where over the past 2-3 years I've wondered what could Dave do to improve the game, since IMO, it's pretty darn close to perfect.  This year we are getting game recaps (a commish's dream) and some huge updates to the Video Chalkboard.

The tournament will see it's first pitch thrown on 12/26 and it will run for a little over a month.  Our task is to compete hard and find any post release challenges that need to be addressed and fixed, so that our regular leagues will be playing with a sophisticated, stable and well tested game platform.

For our troubles, Dave Koch will again be awarding prizes to our final 4 teams.  Our champion will receive a $100 DKS gift certificate.  The runner up with get a $50 gift certificate and the rest of the final 4 will get $20 gift certificates.

We will be using the 2016 Season disk that Dave sells with the 2017 game.  This is the 3rd year in a row that we are using this disk.  Can the Cubs and Indians make it all the way to finals, just like they did in real life ?  We shall soon see.  The drafting of teams will take place on Wednesday 12/14.

The only requirements to participate are:

1. You own the new 2017 DKS Baseball game (available just before Christmas)
2. You own the newly released 2016 MLB Season, which is packaged with the game.
3. You have an internet connection and can either host conventionally or via Hamachi.
