Tribe takes 3 of 4 from ‘Stros to advance

600659155_JWa_113Indians win the series in four games; taking two games in Minute Maid park as the Astros bullpen proved ineffective.

The Astros won the first game of the series behind rookie Chris Devenski who allowed only two runs in 6.1 innings and Jason Castro who homered and drove in three runs.

Colin McHugh was ineffective in game two as the Tribe handed the Astros a 11 – 1 drubbing.  Carlos Carrasco allowed only one run in 7 innings and Lonnie Chisenall had four hits, Mike Napoli homered and Lindor scored three runs.

Mike Napoli went three for four and Carlos Santana homered to lead the Tribe to an 8 – 6 win in game two.  Colin McCullers pitched poorly walking five in 6 innings.

Jose Ramirez hit a three run double in the ninth to erase a 3 – 2 Astro lead and Coco Crisp  doubled in two more as the Indians tallied five runs in the top of the ninth and went on to a 7 – 3 win and the series triumph.
